ALK detection in lung cancer: identification of atypical and cryptic ALK rearrangements using an optimal algorithm
ConclusionFalse negative of ALK IHC, FISH and NGS results were found in our cohort, but none was false ALK positive. False ALK negatives should be more concerned than false positives. ALK rearrangements with cryptic ALK fusion patterns could be identified using our algorithm. Non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer was recommended for priority detection. Πλύσιμο χεριών: Σαπούνι ή αντισηπτικό;

Simultaneous maxillomandibular distraction in unilateral mandibular hypoplasia
In craniomaxillofacial surgery we often deal with hypoplastic mandibles and mandibular asymmetries, the correction of which is critical to obtaining acceptable aesthetic results. In all of them we find common skeletal problems once growth has finished, such as an inclined occlusal plane and facial asymmetry with a stable dental occlusion. Simultaneous maxillomandibular distraction, which involves a Le Fort I osteotomy and a mandibular osteotomy with intermaxillary fixation during the period of active...

Bayesian spatiotemporal modeling with sliding windows to correct reporting delays for real-time dengue surveillance in Thailand
Abstract Background The ability to produce timely and accurate estimation of dengue cases can significantly impact disease control programs. A key challenge for dengue control in Thailand is the systematic delay in reporting at different levels in the surveillance system. Efficient and reliable surveillance and notification systems are vital to monitor health outcome trends and early detection of disease outbreaks which vary in space...

(FYODOR DOSTOEVSKY)

Problem with Cognitive Functioning
Hi there, I hope that you’re having a wonderful day. I’ll try to be as brief as possible with my problem. I don’t know if it’s depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism or merely the fact that I could have a low IQ maybe? When I was a kid up until middle school, my grades soared as I always used to be the highest grader in my class, but afterward by grades unexpectedly went down. Maybe the situation in my home had a negative impact on me. My parents used to fight a lot. Whenever this happened, I used to...
