Distinction between the Lymph Vessel and the Vein on ICG lymphography: Intradermal or Subcutaneous ICG Injection also Enhances the Vein

Distinction between the Lymph Vessel and the Vein on ICG lymphography: Intradermal or Subcutaneous ICG Injection also Enhances the Vein: We read the article reported by Hara et al. (Hara H, et al. Multilymphosome injection indocyanine green lymphography can detect more lymphatic vessels than lymphoscintigraphy in lymphedematous limbs. J Plast Reconstr Aesthet Surg. 2020 Jan 21. [Epub ahead of print]) with an interest, and agree with their conclusive statement that multiple injection indocyanine green (ICG) lymphography allows better identification of functional lymphatics than lymphoscintigraphy.1 There is another point to be paid attention regarding interpretation of images obtained by ICG.
