Associated primary tumors in patients with primary cutaneous lymphoma: a single center retrospective cohort study:

Abstract

Primary cutaneous lymphomas (CL) are the second most common group of extranodal non‐Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL). Cutaneous T‐cell lymphomas (CTCL) account for the majority of cases.1 Many patients with CL have a rather good prognosis and for those the impact on outcome, if an associated primary neoplasm occurs, is even more critical than in the patients with aggressive CL subtypes. In the literature, no incidences of associated primary neoplasms in Germany are reported in this population, which led to the concept for the here presented study.
